The Complete Xeno City Blues

All four issues of the Xeno City Blues are now in print as a collected series from Amazon! 448 pages in glorious black and white (Jazz has bills, can’t afford these fancy colors). If you prefer your books electronic, the collection is also available that way.

The print edition contains the entire series from start to finish, with Jazz crashing around Xeno City in search of truth, justice, and a nice dish of kimchi.

Book 1: Face the Music

All J. Azize “Jazz” Singer wanted to do was close out yet another divorce case and head to the bar and indulge in a well-earned drink, but a phone call from an old friend interrupts and sends the private detective down a dark path with only one possible end in sight. Greed, corruption, and murder are in town and Jazz is hell-bent on revenge and willing to sacrifice it all to make sure everyone gets what they deserve.

Book 2: Sour Notes

A peaceful card game turns into a life and death struggle as explosions rock Xeno City. With friends among the missing and wounded, private detective Jazz Singer is thrust into the middle of the chaos, determined to figure out who or what is behind it all. Soon the bodies and questions begin to pile up, along with Jazz’s mounting dinner bill as a new house guest threatens to break the bank. With no answers in sight, Jazz is forced to use whatever means necessary to get to the bottom of things, even if it means putting those the detective cares about in the line of fire. Someone has to pay, and pay dearly – but in the end, will it be enough?

Book 3: Even the Score

The distant past has come back to haunt Xeno City’s only Human detective, setting off a deadly chain of events. A missing lover, secret organizations, and mysterious lights in the sky are only the start of Jazz’s troubles. Far from home and low on ammo, the private detective struggles to survive, friends and allies nowhere to be found. With only Roosevelt in hand, Jazz becomes the hunted, up against an enemy with almost limitless resources and a thirst for blood. Power and money controls Xeno City, but those in charge will soon find out that nobody controls Jazz Singer.

Book 4: Chamber Music

When a new client turns up dead on the eve of Xeno City’s annual festival, Jazz Singer suspects foul play when the evidence says otherwise. Cryptic warnings and threats are only the start, and before the day is over, the private detective is neck-deep in trouble. The clues and the bodies keep piling up as friends old and new join in, along with someone who isn’t who they appear. As Jazz battles to discover the truth and who is behind The Event, time starts to run out for both the private detective and Xeno City.
